Alright, so I told my friends who are on Live Journal (livejournal? LiveJournal??- IDK, how are the cool kids typing it?) that I was going to acquire a livejournal and USE IT. That was at least 6 months ago. I said to myself, "My dear, it is high time that you get yourself an account on this LiveJournal and actually post on it." This has yet to transpire.

Okay, well, the whole getting an account thing has transpired. In fact, it transpired surprisingly close to the time it was supposed to. It's the whole POSTING thing that's really been difficult for me to do. I mean, I don't know what to post on this Live Journal area, but I sure could do with another tool to further my expertise in the fine art of procrastination (I'm working on my PHD in it.) So here I am, typing away when I should be laying out pages for the newspaper or doing my math homework since I did tell Ms. Bookout that I was going to bring up my homework grade (It's currently a 13, and NetView has put a helpful little F beside the number grade, you know, in case I didn't realize that a 13 is failing.)

But I digress. The point of this first foray into the largely uncharted waters of LiveJournal is to explain the real reason that I am writing this. Sadly, it is not because my friends have been begging me for many nuanced accounts of my day. Nyet, as the Russians say (Is that what the Russians say?). My real reason for finally for this post is that my MOM has had an LJ for YEARS and posts on it REGULARLY.

Yes, my mom is officially cooler than I am. *sigh*
